As timeless as it is beautiful . . . this heirloom daygown is constructed from 100% white cotton Swiss batiste, and trimmed with ecru french laces.  Entredeux is used to attaced all laces and beading . . . french beading is used at the wrists to allow silk satin ribbons to tie into small bows.

The daygown pictured was made for a little boy - the lace features small dots in lieu of flowers, and is drawn into small scallops instead of ruffles.  The bodice is pintucked, with hand embroidered featherstitching inbetween.

The fit of this daygown is a little oversized, for baby's comfort.  The back buttons down to a lace edged hemline.

Item is available in two sizes:  NB (7-12 lbs.), and Infant (12-18 lbs.)  Always order the next size up if your baby weighs 12-13 lbs. or you may not be able to have his/her photos taken before he/she outgrows the gown.

Because of the sheerness of this daygown, you will need to use a diaper cover if you decide against a slip.
